Mill Creek—Rainbow Trout, Bull Trout
One of the hidden gems of the Walla Walla valley, this two mile stretch on Mill Creek offers the best of the small stream experience. Considered a spawning tributary of the Walla Walla River this stream is no longer stocked. The fish caught here are either young ocean run Rainbow Trout (Steelhead) or Bull Trout. Don't be fooled by the idea of a small stream. Beginner and experienced fly fishers will be challenged here. Ounce for ounce these will be some of the strongest and most playful fish you will ever catch.
Touchet River—Rainbow Trout, Steelhead, Small-Mouth Bass
The Touchet is locally known for it’s winter Steelhead run. The beauty of this river is that it can be fished from June 1st through April 15 for all species. From November 1-April 15th the focus is on pursuing Brown Trout and Steelhead. Other guide services bring clients from the central part of Washington to fish for Mini-Steelhead (young/residual Steelhead Smolts). The lower Touchet offers a great experience casting a fly for Small-Mouth Bass.
Tucannon River—Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Bull Trout, Steelhead
The stories told by old-timers of this storied river can make one envious. Famous for Steelhead and Brown Trout the Tucannon offers a number of locations and experiences. The lower sections that we fish offer some of the best Steelhead fishing in this part of the state. The upper sections offer great dry fly fishing opportunities on public and private land and a fly fishing only lake.
Walla Walla River—Steelhead
A favorite Steelhead fishery for locals, the Walla Walla can be very productive during certain times of the year. Stories of having 8-16 fish days are not fish stories.
Grand Rhonde River—Steelhead
Two and one half hours from Walla Walla lies the famous desert or lower section of the Grand Rhonde River where it empties into the Snake River. This section of water is world renowned for Steelhead and draws fly fishers from around the United States and the world to fish for these magnificent fish. The season is September through February and offers world-class fly-fishing for Steelhead.
Rocky Ford Spring Creek
Test your skills on this spring creek. This special piece of water lies two hours from Walla Walla and is a place one can test his or her skills. Sight fish by casting to big fish with tiny flies and light tippets.
